I have already alerted some of you to the fact that a beloved, albeit recent, Richmond institution is under attack. The Belmont Butchery, purveyors of fine meats, once sported an impressively minimalist website. It was a single page that listed their hours and tantalized visitors with a picture of the marbled shank of some delicious creature. I visited the website many times even though the site didn’t grow beyond that one page. I pondered the juxtaposition of the spartan layout with the pictured cut of richly marbled, prized meat. On my last visit, however, I was confronted with the following graphic as well as the notice that the site had been hacked by “CrOwnzer.”
Applying the skills gleaned from reading countless Sherlock Holmes stories, I immediately deduced that the hacker is a lovelorn, teenage, Pakistani girl. How, you ask? Elementary, my dear Internets.

Why do the terrorists always strike the places we hold most dear?
N.B. – I do not think all Pakistanis are terrorists. I respect many things about the nation of Pakistan most notably its ability to churn out an endless supply of quality fast bowlers despite being riddled with corruption and having next to no infrastructure.

This equation you’ve produced is fascinating and too complex for my feeble, Western mind.

What if it wasn’t hacked?
Have we considered the possibility that it’s a new marketing technique devised by our favorite Sausage artisans whose sole purpose is to spark intrigue and discussion?
Also, the music is amazing.

Alas… we are not that cleaver! Just as we were/are starting on a real website, we got ‘hacked’. Actually, I think the count was 6 times in 10 days. After changing hosting companies…we have a new holding page and are actively working on an honest to goodness (and meaty yumminess) website! Pictures of sausages with descriptions; anatomy of a cow and all sorts of interesting stuff…so, just wait and let us know what you think…

An Information From A Turk
Hi guys. I was searching “Crownzer” by Google, then I’ve seen your posts. You are very very wrong… I’m a Turkish girl and I’m comdemning you right now! First of all, the picture that you showed above is infamy! The flag that you showed in the shape of heart is the Turkish flag! Not the Pakistan’s flag! Haven’t you ever learned the flags of the countries? I’ve never been so surprised in my life before. Everyone says that the West is modern and knowledgeable but I see that is not true. I’m 17 years old and condemning you for many times right now. Here isn’t Pakistan. I feel terrible for you about your mistake. Maybe in other times, you can think of researching. Knowledgeable West? I don’t think so.
By the way, I know Crownzer. He’s a Turk boy and 17 years old like me. He’s not a terrorist and not a Pakistani, too! Maybe some of Pakistan people are terrorist but not the Turkish people, on the contrary you say; I’m condemning you for the last time for the Turkish public. You’re disgusting…
P.S.: Sorry for cursing you. I’m just pissed off enough to say these things. I’m sorry for cursing, not for the things that you said before.
